ABOUT OPIE
My name is Chauntelle Janzer, you can call me Opie though. I live in Sugar House with my husband, Jesse Janzer, after moving from the very hip Pierpont Lofts. Together we bought a quaint brick house shortly before getting married on Friday the 13th in the gorgeous Utah Museum of Fine Art building.
I became passionate with photography after seeing the stunning photos from our wedding. While enrolled in the Fine Arts program at the University of Utah I purchased my prized Canon 5D. The quality of pictures is nothing short of amazing. My love of photography, along with cutting edge technology has led me to pursue a professional career where I can be creative, fun, and daring. Part of my profession has lead me to be excited for the newly arising grunge appeal of urban design. This lets me scout out new places for future shoots that involve parts of down town salt lake, abandoned buildings, museums, parks, historic areas, and any place that just "clicks".
My main photography passion has lead me towards wedding photography. It's amazing to be apart of something as joyful as this time; from the excitement of engagement, the blushing bride, or the first kiss of the newly weds I want to be able to capture this time for you. From my own experience in getting married I know that your wedding means a lot of headaches and concerns. Let me take away the worries about your photographer. I don't take "cheesy" shots, I strive to be original and creative with every shoot I do, my prices are outstanding, I'm always on-time, I'm flexible, I'm prompt, I offer unique on-line and secure galleries, and best of all my prints are both amazing and affordable.
I'd be thrilled to work with you for your wedding, bridal, budoir, engagement, family, or modeling shoot. You can always call me at 801.815.2262 or send me an email at opie@opiefoto.com.
